			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I hit the local YMCA for a leg and 6-minute abs workout on Sunday<br />
morning. Six-minute abs is my latest mini-report and workout coming<br />
out in October.</p>
<p>You&#8217;ll get a bunch of great beginner and advanced 6-minute ab<br />
workouts that show you how to get six pack abs in less time than it<br />
takes to watch all the commercials in a half-hour TV show. So some<br />
of these workouts you can do right at home in front of the TV.</p>
<p>The one I did yesterday was an advanaced 6-minute workout, and it<br />
requires a chin-up bar. Here&#8217;s how it went down&#8230;</p>
<p>1A) Hanging Knee Raises (10 reps)<br />
1B) Spiderman Climbs (10 reps per side)<br />
1C) Plank with Arms on Ball (20-30 seconds)</p>
<p>Go through that circuit as much as you can in 6 minutes with as<br />
little rest as possible between  exercieses. Don&#8217;t even rest once<br />
you&#8217;ve completed the circuit, just start back again at the top.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s tough. But fun and effective and gets your workout done faster<br />
than ever. And it was a far better use of workout time compared to<br />
the people I watched doing 15 minutes of crunches. What a waste.</p>

<p>How&#8217;s it goin&#8217;! This is a letter from your ol&#8217; pal, Belly Fat. We had a great run this summer, didn&#8217;t we? Lots of good times, great food, and plain ol&#8217; sitting around eating too much.</p>
<p>Well, I&#8217;m thinking about sticking around another year if you don&#8217;t mind. But you might need to get a bigger pair of pants, as I was thinking about expanding my place down here.</p>
<p>So do me a favor, avoid that interval training you were thinking of doing. The last time you did that stuff, I nearly had to look for a new place to live. I felt like the Wicked Witch of the West in the land of Oz. Did you hear me yelling, &#8220;Help me, I&#8217;m melting!&#8221;?</p>
<p>Instead, stick to that slow cardio stuff. Sure I get a little sweaty, and the ol&#8217; brain up there thinks it&#8217;s doing &#8220;a real fat<br />
burning workout&#8221;, but it&#8217;s never enough to melt me outta here.</p>
<p>Another thing, keep listening to those experts who say strength training doesn&#8217;t burn body fat. Since research shows they&#8217;re wrong, if you added strength training to your program, you&#8217;d practically need to throw me a going away party!</p>
<p>After each one of those superset workouts you tried last January it felt like someone lit a match under our collective butt. I was burning up down here!</p>
<p>But boy oh boy, I sure was glad you gave that up and went back to just lifting utensils and not dumbells. Otherwise we wouldn&#8217;t have been able to celebrate another summer together this year.</p>
<p>Sometimes I wonder, what did you ever do in college without me, your trusted belly fat? Back then, you were probably one of those people that couldn&#8217;t wait to get to the beach to show off your body, unlike these days.</p>
<p>Nope, stay in the shade and keep the cover-up clothes on, that&#8217;s the way to go now. Besides, its a lot closer to the cold beer and the BBQ when you&#8217;re sitting in the shade avoiding all the fun down on the beach.</p>
<p>Well, it sure was good catching up with you. I&#8217;m sure we&#8217;ll be in touch more often, as long as you stay away from that Turbulence Training workout routine.</p>
<p>Brings a tear to my eye whenever I even think about that workout program and all the belly fat it&#8217;s burned. Heck, it&#8217;s fried more fat than a short order cook at a roadside truckstop.</p>

<p>I recently got stuck in an airport due a delayed flight. But I didn&#8217;t end up<br />
eating junk food. In fact, I have a SECRET that can help you avoid cheating<br />
on your diet.</p>
<p>First, you have to be prepared. In fact, here are my meals from that day. My<br />
brunch included an omelet with vegetables, some grilled fish &amp; peppers,<br />
fruit (pineapple, raspberries, blueberries, watermelon), and a V8.</p>
<p>A late lunch included a grilled chicken salad (2 breasts), jimaca, salsa,<br />
black beans, avocado (I substituted the salsa for the dressing). NOTE: Lunch<br />
was eaten at a Mexican restaurant. I said &#8220;no thanks&#8221; to the chips and<br />
salsa. So there you go, proof that you can eat healthy when you eat out.</p>
<p>My snacks at the airport included raw cashews, red delicious apple, raw<br />
almonds, as well as a banana and more almonds later on my flight.</p>
<p>Without my preparation, I would have been outta luck, and stuck eating M&amp;M&#8217;s<br />
(the peanut kind, of course) and greasy take out food at the airport. So<br />
what&#8217;s the secret? Accountability.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve committed to telling the world about my diet and workouts, so I can&#8217;t<br />
set a bad example or break my promise to you by eating junk food.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m holding myself accountable to you. By doing this, I&#8217;m going to be more<br />
focused on eating healthier than ever, because I don&#8217;t want to have to<br />
report to YOU that I&#8217;m cheating on my diet.</p>
<p>I also need to eat well and research the best options so that I can pass<br />
along little insider nutrition tips to you, such as these tips.</p>
<p>1) Most people don&#8217;t know that the peanut butter they feed their kids (&amp;<br />
themselves!) is filled with two of the nastiest ingredients in the world,<br />
and those are Trans fats (the &#8220;bad&#8221; kind of fat) and sugar. So you should<br />
choose Peanut Butter that contains JUST peanuts as the one and only<br />
ingredient.</p>
<p>2) My favorite canned food is Amy&#8217;s Organic Chili. I usually stick with<br />
Medium, but sometimes I go spicy.</p>
<p>3) I add a little of Mrs. Renfro&#8217;s Organic Salsa to almost every meal I eat.<br />
A little bit with my morning omelet, a little with my chili at lunch, and a<br />
little with my BBQ chicken at night.</p>

<p>Fat loss for obese people can follow the same Turbulence Training workouts that fat loss for advanced people will follow, but we just need to adjust the exercises and intensity. The principles remain the same.</p>
<p>We&#8217;ll use multi-muscle exercises. We&#8217;ll do them in superset pairs. And yes, we&#8217;ll even use interval training for this. It will be modified, but we can still do it.</p>
<p>Recently, my friend and nutrition expert Dr. Chris Mohr interviewed me on how an obese person can use Turbulence Training for fat loss.</p>
<p>Q: Craig, what do you do if you have an extremely obese individual who is totally inactive &#8212; is TT still the best recommendation?</p>
<p>Answer:<br />
Yes, it still is.</p>
<p>I built the Turbulence Training system working with men and women from 14-75, and my experience included many obese men and women along the way, including men over 300 pounds and women over 225 pounds.</p>
<p>Provided their doctor approved them for exercise, we were ready to go!</p>
<p>So that&#8217;s why I&#8217;ve included the Introductory and Beginner Level TT Workouts in the Turbulence Training for Fat Loss manual. Any sedentary individual, man or woman, needs to start there.</p>
<p>In fact, the very first phase is performed with 90% of the exercises done lying on the ground. Users are shocked to see how hard LYING exercises can be&#8230;but they are the perfect blend of safety and intensity for overweight, inactive folks.</p>
<p>The perfect starting point.</p>
<p>That brings up one other thing&#8230;and the main point beginners need to understand is that NUTRITION is the key to fat loss in the first couple of weeks when they are getting back into exercise.</p>
<p>Folks will get more results from following your meal plans. That said, they need to choose an exercise program that will build them up for future training sessions&#8230;and that&#8217;s what my TT workouts do.</p>
<p>On the other hand, if inactive folks launch right into a serious cardio/endurance program, they&#8217;ll get a sour taste of the &#8220;Dark Side of Cardio&#8221; pretty quick, putting them in the Doctor&#8217;s office with overuse injuries.</p>
<p>So choose your fat loss weapons wisely when just starting out!</p>
<p>If you are a beginner, make sure to check with your doctor before starting a new diet or exercise program.</p>
